Rome, 18 November (LaPresse) – “The Kessler twins have been close to Médecins Sans Frontières in Italy, lending their faces to a TV fundraising campaign in 2014, during which they announced to the public that they had included Médecins Sans Frontières in their will. We are waiting for the will to be opened to be certain of this choice. We do not accept public funds, and we are particularly grateful to those who choose to support us at one of the most delicate moments of their lives. The impact of bequests on the lives of the people we assist is extraordinary. Every day, the funds received from charitable bequests enable us to bring our medical and humanitarian aid where it is most needed, whether it be in a war zone, a natural disaster, or to assist people who are excluded from access to medical care. Charitable bequests are not just something to consider in old age or if you have a large estate. There is one thing that unites those who choose to support Médecins Sans Frontières in their wills: the desire to help without time limits. So says Laura Perrotta, Fundraising Director at Médecins Sans Frontières, to LaPresse.
