Oil: futures prices rise amid tensions over Lebanon, Brent up 2.3% to $97 a barrel

Milan, 9 Apr. (LaPresse) – New tensions in the Middle East, with Israeli attacks in Lebanon threatening the stability of the ceasefire between the United States and Iran, are pushing up oil futures prices on the main international hubs. Brent prices are currently hovering around $97 per barrel, up 2.3%, whilst WTI prices stand at $97.5 per barrel (+3.3%).
