Washington (USA), Apr. 11 (LaPresse) – Eric Swalwell, one of the leading Democratic candidates for governor of California, has been accused of sexual harassment by four women. One of them, a former staffer, told CNN that she was raped while intoxicated, an allegation that Swalwell strongly denies. “I was pushing him away, saying no, he did not stop,” the woman said, describing the alleged assault that took place in 2024 after she had stopped working in the politician’s office. Three other women who spoke to CNN reported various forms of sexual harassment by the Democratic congressman, including Swalwell allegedly sending unsolicited explicit messages or nude photos.
