Frankfurt (Germany), 12 Apr. (LaPresse) – An Israeli attack on the southern Lebanese town of Qana has left five people dead and several others injured, according to the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA). Civil defence teams worked to evacuate the injured and transport them to hospitals in the nearby town of Tyre, the NNA stated. Israel also launched separate attacks against other communities in the Tyre district, injuring at least three people in Ma’raka. Al Jazeera notes that the town of Qana has already been the target of Israeli massacres, including those in 1996 and 2006.
