Milan, 13 April (LaPresse) – Eighteen Serie A clubs are currently in favour of Giovanni Malagò’s candidacy for the presidency of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC). This is the impression emerging from the meeting currently taking place in Via Rosellini in Milan, which is being attended by all 20 clubs. The only clubs reportedly opposed are Lazio and Verona. The deadline for submitting candidacies for the presidency of the FIGC is 13 May, with the elections scheduled for 22 June in Rome.
