Excise Duty Bill: Meloni: ‘An extension? Let’s see what our priorities will be based on the ongoing negotiations’

Rho (Milan), 21 April (LaPresse) – “There are some extremely important negotiations currently underway, and we support them – both those concerning the Islamabad talks and those concerning the direct Israel-Lebanon negotiations, another issue of great importance to us. So, based on the outcome of these negotiations, we will see what our priorities should be.” Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said this to reporters on the sidelines of the 64th edition of the Salone del Mobile in Milan, at Rho Fiera, when asked whether the excise duty cut would be extended beyond 1 May.
