Washington (US), 24 Apr. (LaPresse) – The investigation into Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell ‘continues’. This was stated by White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt after Washington federal prosecutor Janine Pirro announced the closure of the investigation into alleged cost overruns in the refurbishment of the Fed’s headquarters. The investigation “is simply under a different authority”, Leavitt clarified when speaking to journalists.
