Ukraine, Zelensky: ‘New information on massive Russian attack’

Rome, 5 July (LaPresse) – “There is new intelligence suggesting that the Russians are preparing for another massive attack. This is in keeping with Putin’s modus operandi, coming immediately after US Independence Day and ahead of the NATO summit in Ankara. Russia wants to cause more harm and kill people. Please look after yourselves and pay attention to air raid warnings.” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote this on Telegram. “To our partners: any delay in the supply of missiles for our air defence – the Patriot missiles – results in the loss of human lives and encourages Russia to continue the fight. The world has the necessary quantity and quality of air defence systems: your decisions are crucial to ensuring the real protection of lives in Ukraine,” he added. “And above all, this is obviously a decision for America, a decision for the most powerful nations in Europe and the world. Please take proactive decisions and protect lives. Patriot missiles are no longer needed in warehouses, but in Patriot battalions in Ukraine. Thank you to those who are providing practical help,” concluded the leader in Kyiv.
