Garlasco, investigating judge: “No trace of Venditti’s money.”

Milan, 17 Sep. (LaPresse) – There is no “trace” or “proof” that the “money” moved by Andrea Sempio’s family in 2017 reached Mario Venditti. Thus the investigating judge of Brescia, Mauroernesto Macca, in the decree of dismissal from the charge of corruption in judicial documents against the former deputy prosecutor of Pavia who had ended up under investigation for the now famous ‘pizzino’ (a note) with the writing ‘Venditti Gip Archivia X 20.-30. euros’, seized in May 2025 in the home of Andrea Sempio, and for some movements in the current accounts by the family of the 38-year-old, under investigation for the Garlasco crime. A note, mistakenly dated February 4, 20216, which investigators initially interpreted as meaning “€20,000 or €30,000,” according to the information in the documents, due to the presence of the “dot after the digits 20 and 30.” The investigating judge granted the request for dismissal presented by the Brescia Prosecutor’s Office, headed by Francesco Prete, filing a 14-page order in the past few hours.
