Rome, 22 Apr. (LaPresse) – ‘Depending on how the international situation develops, the government reserves the right to consider further measures, including, where appropriate, in coordination with initiatives taken at European level, both to ensure security of supply and to reduce exposure to market volatility.’ This was stated by the Minister for the Environment and Energy Security, Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, during Question Time in the Chamber of Deputies. ‘Given the international context,’ Pichetto noted, ‘the government will assess all possible options for action to protect households’ purchasing power and the competitiveness of businesses.’
