Varese: Elia Del Grande requested validation for aggravated robbery

Rome, April 9. (LaPresse) – This morning the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of Varese submitted to the investigating judge a request to validate the arrest of Elia Del Grande for aggravated robbery, carried out by the Carabinieri of the Gallarate branch. In addition to being charged with resisting arrest and aggravated assault on a public official, Del Grande is seriously suspected of aggravated robbery and aggravated assault committed against the 69-year-old woman from Sesto Calende, owner of the Fiat 500 in which the fugitive was located yesterday afternoon in Varano Borghi, in the province of Varese. Thanks to the inspection carried out, the analysis of images from the video surveillance systems, and after interviewing the victim and several informed individuals, the officers acquired the necessary information that led to the arrest. The suspect, held in Varese prison, will appear before the preliminary investigations judge in the coming days for a validation hearing.
