Rome: comedian Massimo Bagnato arrested for stalking his ex-partner

Rome, 29 April (LaPresse) – Comedian Massimo Bagnato has been arrested by the Medaglie d’Oro Carabinieri station on charges of stalking his ex-partner. According to the police account, the man, whose arrest was upheld yesterday morning by a judge at the Court of Rome, is alleged to have followed his ex-partner on several occasions. The Carabinieri caught him outside his ex-partner’s home after she had called 112 to raise the alarm. The woman had filed a complaint against Bagnato. The judge has issued a restraining order as a precautionary measure. Massimo Bagnato is being defended by his lawyer, Claudio Berardi. The next hearing is scheduled for 10 July.
