Rome, 5 July (LaPresse) – The world number one in women’s tennis, Aryna Sabalenka, has bowed out of Wimbledon. The Belarusian’s run in the London Grand Slam was brought to an end by Naomi Osaka, who won in two sets with a score of 6-2, 7-6. The Japanese player, the 14th seed in the draw, thus advances to the quarter-finals, where she will face the Czech Karolina Muchova.
