Ukraine, France: ‘We hope for a 20th package of sanctions by the end of the year’

Brussels, 20 November (LaPresse) – ‘As regards work on the 20th package of sanctions, we hope it will be finalised before the end of the year.’ This was stated by French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot on his arrival at the Foreign Affairs Council. The minister also referred to efforts ‘to block the ghost fleet, those ships that Russia uses to circumvent European sanctions, but also American sanctions, which come into force today against the two main oil companies, Lukoil and Rosneft.’
