Lebanon: over 1,950 deaths since the start of the Israeli attacks

Milan, 10 April (LaPresse) – At least 1,953 people have died in Israeli attacks in Lebanon since 2 March. This was reported by the Ministry of Health in Beirut, which stated that more than 102 were women, over 130 were children and at least 57 were paramedics. The ministry added that over 6,300 people have been injured, whilst more than a million people have been displaced by the war. At least 357 people, it noted, have died and over 1,223 have been injured in the large-scale Israeli raids that struck central Beirut and other areas on Wednesday. The ministry stated that the death toll is not final, as rescue and identification operations are still ongoing.
