Kyiv, Apr. 11 (LaPresse) – Two people died overnight in Odesa, Ukraine, following a drone attack on a residential area, and another two are currently hospitalized. This was reported by the Military Administration of the city of Odesa on Telegram, according to Ukrinform. “Two people have died as a result of the attack on a residential area. Another two victims are currently hospitalized, where they are receiving all necessary treatment,” the statement reads. It is reported that civilian infrastructure suffered extensive damage: dozens of private and apartment buildings, a dormitory and a kindergarten. The windows of buildings were shattered, and roofs and facades were damaged. Restaurants were also damaged. Infrastructure was also hit. Since last night, public utilities have been restored in all affected areas, the military administration reported. Specialists are repairing damaged windows, roofs, and removing debris and rubble from the affected areas. A mobile operations center has been set up, where representatives of the district administration are assisting affected residents with the necessary paperwork to receive aid from the municipal budget and compensation under the “e-Recovery” program. As reported by Ukrinform, during the night the Russian army struck a high-rise building in Sumy with a drone. There are casualties.
