Ukraine, Medvedev: ‘Russia has the right to attack any enemy vessel’

Milan, 12 August (LaPresse) – “The vast majority of Western European ships fly flags of convenience. What does this mean? It means that, following a symmetrical approach (which is fair), Russia has the right to attack any merchant ship from enemy countries, whether in our waters or in neutral waters, if there is sufficient suspicion that it is carrying goods for the enemy. That is to say, any kind of cargo! And there are a great many such ships.” This is what Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, wrote in a message on Telegram. “Our armed forces are capable of drastically expanding their operations beyond the Black Sea basin!” he added.
