Milan, 17 Sept. (LaPresse) – An incursion into Lithuanian airspace by two Russian jets in the late afternoon prompted two Italian Eurofighter F-2000 fighter jets from Task Force Air ‘Baltic Thunder III’ 6 to scramble from Siauliai Airport in the Baltic state. According to reports, the Italian fighter jets escorted the Russian jets out of NATO airspace.
