(LaPresse) – Did I hear Donald Trump after his statements about me? “I haven’t heard from Donald Trump.” The President of the Council, Giorgia Meloni, said this on the sidelines of the informal European Council in Nicosia, Cyprus. “After that, as far as our relations with the United States are concerned, they are always solid relations and as far as my relations with Donald Trump are concerned there is nothing particular that I am doing at this moment,” he adds. “As far as Putin at the G20 is concerned, I think that this is the moment in which we are the ones asking Putin to take some steps forward and not us doing so towards him. Because we, the Americans, above all, in recent months have made several steps forward towards Russia and on the other hand we have not seen as many steps forward.
