Milan, 26 April (LaPresse) – It was plain sailing for Jannik Sinner in the third round of the 2026 Mutua Madrid Open, the second Masters 1000 event of the season on clay. On the Centre Court at the Caja Mágica, the world number one and top seed comfortably defeated 22-year-old Danish qualifier Elmer Moller, ranked 169th in the ATP rankings, in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3, to advance to the round of 16. In the next round, Sinner will face the winner of the match between British veteran Cameron Norrie and Argentine Tiago Tirante.
