Iran: US House of Representatives passes new measure requiring Trump to end the war

Turin, 16 Sept. (LaPresse) – The US House of Representatives has passed a measure requiring President Donald Trump to end the war with Iran. The resolution passed with 220 votes in favour and 204 against, dealing a severe blow to the administration for the third time since the start of the conflict. This is the third time the House has ordered Trump to withdraw troops from Iran. Seven Republican MPs voted in favour, compared with the four Republican votes cast in the two previous resolutions. The measure now moves to the Senate.
