Meloni: “Whilst others talk about wealth taxes, we are scrapping the property tax”

Rome, 16 Sept. (LaPresse) – “Today, in the Council of Ministers, we approved the abolition of road tax for small and medium-powered cars, up to 80 kW, and for motorcycles, with an exemption for one vehicle per citizen. We have chosen to redirect part of the resources previously used to tackle high fuel prices into a simple, structural measure, designed above all for those who use cars and motorbikes every day for work, to take their children to school, and to get about. A concrete decision: we are scrapping one of the taxes most hated by Italians and continuing on the path of reducing the tax burden. Whilst others talk about wealth taxes, we are scrapping a property tax.” Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni wrote this on social media.
